Ananda Annual Festival

For your information, the Ananda temple holds its annual pagoda festival, start from 18th January 2019 to 2nd Feruary 2019. This festival is one of the most famous pagoda festivals in Bagan,

The Ananda temple is just a few minutes’ walk from our hotel and definitely worth a visit.

At this time, the villagers from around Bagan come to the festival in traditional bullock carts and made camps for the whole duration of the festival.

The night’s e ntertainment includes musical amusement, dancing , singing , theatre and stand-up comedy. There will be a sea of local vendors/shops selling everything from traditional food to agricultural tools and souvenirs.
